Private and Small Group Lessons
Private instruction consists of weekly one-on-one lessons between the teacher and student (and parent). Lessons can be 30 or 60 minutes long depending on the level and goals of the student. They are a time when the student has the opportunity to learn new skills and techniques from their teacher to improve their ability as a musician. Lessons often consists of performing, conversing, singing and playing games. In each lesson, student's will be given a reasonable amount of material to practice throughout the week in order to progress in their musical study.

These small groups allow for students to receive individual attention, and as well learn in a social environment. Classes are offered in saxophone, flute, clarinet and improvisation. Teaching Philosophy
As an educator, Chris strives to nurture the talent of all of his students. He believes that learning to play a musical instrument has the potential to foster in students discipline, confidence, responsibility and a sense of community; traits vital for becoming both a good musician and person. Furthermore, Chris strives to create an environment for his students where learning comes naturally and is the product of each student's individual experiences. He firmly believes that talent is not inherited, but rather developed. Anyone and everyone has the ability to become a superb musician. If nurtured and and guided properly, musical ability can be an incredibly positive force in a student's life.
